Social Impact Reporting

We have utilized some common categories to help you with this section. Since this is not an exhaustive list, there is an opportunity to expand on impact methods not included in one of these categories.

Employment - prioritize hiring a marginalized demographic (women, minorities, homeless, disabled, previously incarcerated, etc.). Setting goals related to hiring and establishing programs to help marginalized people succeed and grow.
Supply - offering products or services that by nature benefit society like environmental remediation, or technology designed to connect people to giving or serving opportunities. It also includes providing your product or service to those who cannot afford them as a standard part of your business model like a buy one give one model.
Supply Chain - a formal program for choosing vendors by evaluating diversity, ethics, social equality and carbon footprint.
Give - a portion of revenues to an organization providing resources, training, or solutions to social causes, or selectively donating products or services to nonprofits or organizations working on social issues.
Employee Engagement - you establish an intentional culture that fosters employee engagement in social impact. Examples include matching employee giving, offering paid time off for employee volunteering/service, and actively promoting within your staff how the company advances social impact to motivate individuals to find their own passions and areas of impact.

2. If you engage in social impact through EMPLOYMENT (prioritize hiring a marginalized demographic like women, minorities, homeless, disabled, previously incarcerated, etc.), please share about this program, goals and impact measurement. Include how you designed the recruiting process or partners you work with to target hiring of these targeted groups, what additional equipping you provide to create a safe and healthy environment for them, and what equipping and support you provide to help these targeted groups be successful in their roles.

3. If you contribute to social impact through who you SUPPLY (offering products or services to those who cannot afford them by using revenue from sales to people who can afford them), please share about the program, goals and impact measurement. For instance do you have a buy one give one model. Do you use a percentage of revenue to fund a program to provide your product or service to people who can not afford it, and if so, how do people qualify etc.

4. If you contribute to social impact through what you SUPPLY (examples may include but are not limited to environmental remediation, offering products or services that are better for our environment, reduce waste and pollution, offering services to help people get out debt, recover from trauma, or meet a social need), please share about the program, goals and impact measurement.

5. If you contribute to social impact through SUPPLY CHAIN (choosing vendors by evaluating diversity, ethics, social equality and carbon footprint) , please share about the program, goals, what you measure and any progress you've made over last year .

6. If you contribute to social impact through GIVING (a portion of revenues to an organization providing resources, training, or solutions to social causes), please tell us more about the social issues/causes you support and the dollar value of your financial contributions for 2021. Please specify value of Cash, versus donated services and donated products separately. Please provide the percentage of change (growth or decline) of your giving over last year.

7. If you contribute to social impact through EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT (you establish an intentional culture that fosters employee engagement in social impact) share about your program and measurement of engagement (for example % of employees who participate, hours contributed, donations matched etc). Please provide any percentage of growth you experienced over last year in this area.
